The Assesment
The conceptual aspect of your corporate image will be conceived at this point.

The first assessment will take place during a meeting or by telephone. The subjects of our discussion will include the scope of your web site, your present situation, your goals, layout preferences, color scheme, services offered, your branding values, selling points and more.

Xerpix Media will follow up with market research and competitors' analysis and prepare for a preliminary draft.

The Design
The discoveries made in the assessment phase will be put into practice during the design phase. Using your color scheme and layout preferences Xerpix Media will create a preliminary layout of your new website.

The layout will be published on a private preview directory you can access from your home. From here you will be able to review the layout and suggest revisions. On average, after 3-4 revisions your layout and your navigation will be finalized.

The Development
At this point the finalized layout will be cut into workable pieces and coded into your new site. Your site will be built according to the most current standard.

Upon completion of this phase you will be able to navigate the entire site, even though it will lack its content. Speaking of content--your content--including images and graphics, will be collected at this point. It should be provided in electronic form in its final form, proofread and free of typos.

Content Integration
Now the content of each page will be placed and formatted in your web site. Stock photos and/or custom graphics will be added as needed. Copyright-free stock photos will be provided free of charge. The position and wording of certain portions of your content will be evaluated for search engine optimization purposes. At this stage Xerpix Media will recommend small revisions that will help you achieve higher search engine rankings. To avoid delays and unexpected expenses make sure that your content is ready to be published and does not need further revisions.

Search Engine Optimization
Next, if you purchased the Search Engine Optimization package your code will be reviewed and cleaned to make sure it's written efficiently and does not present any obstacle to search engine spiders. Keywords will be identified and placed on your site at this stage. Keywords describe your services and help your audience find your business with the use of search engines. A number of special tags and documents used solely by search engines will be created at this stage.

Testing and Quality Control
While we test the site for cross-browser compatibility and World Wide Web Consortium standards, you will make a final site review. This is your last chance to correct any typos.

Launch
Your site will be launched in the Internet. Testing on the live site will take place immediately.

Search Engine Submission
The last phase of our journey is the submission of your new site to the top search engines. Unless you purchased a custom web marketing package, standard submission includes only the major search engines that do not charge a fee for inclusion (i.e. Yahoo and Google). It takes a minimum of 2 weeks to be indexed by search engines.

Ongoing Site Maintenance
To encourage repeat visits, your site should be kept current. To achieve this goal your content should be reviewed and updated regularly and your site should be kept in sync with current technology. Depending on your needs, you have the option of subscribing to a scheduled maintenance program (i.e. quarterly) or a discounted monthly program that will buy you a predetermined number of developer hours to use at your discretion. Please inquire about an Ongoing Site Maintenance Program.
